GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCE

This programme is aimed at international students who would like to improve their Spanish language skills and gain practical work skills.  No prior experience is necessary and placements usually last between two and four weeks.  Placements are normally in the administration, hospitality, or retail fields.

STUDY AREA INTERNSHIPS

This programme is aimed at students who would like to gain practical work skills within their chosen field, in a foreign country. This programme is suited to business, technical, healthcare, and other speciality high schools or training schools. The placements are often between two and four weeks however, they can be up to 16 weeks, if required. We have opportunities in everything from healthcare to engineering to business marketing for the right students.

End of first week, departure of teachers.

WEEK 2 and 3

During weeks 2 & 3 there are only 2 scheduled cultural events for students and the internship runs Monday to Friday.

Toledo day trip.

MONDAY

Internship.

TUESDAY

Internship & Spanish movie night.

WEDNESDAY

Internship.

THURSDAY

Internship & Estadio Bernabe stadium tour.

FRIDAY

Last day of internship, certificates & awards’ ceremony, farewell meeting.

Day at leisure in Madrid.

AN EXAMPLE OF OUR TERRIFIC PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES IN MADRID

City tour, a great introduction to the city that you will be working and living in Madrid.

Ruta de tapas, this is a tapas tour that takes you to the best tapas restaurants in Madrid. Visit different tapas bars and try all the local specialities.

Salsa course where you get to move your body to the rhythms of salsa music with the guidance of a Spanish dance teacher to learn the basic steps of the dance. Get your students and yourself moving! Let the Latino rhythms sweep you away and set the mood for your stay.

Madrid hop-on, hop-off bus tour – get to sit on top of the open-air bus and take your time to explore the city.

Visit the El Prado museum that highlights famous Spanish and international artists.

Visit the Reina Sofia museum which houses a number of impressive artworks such as “La Guernica” by Pablo Picasso.

Estadio Bernabe stadium tour to explore the world-famous stadium with a guide and then visit the Real Madrid museum.
