GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCE

This programme is aimed at international students who would like to improve their Italian language skills and gain practical work skills.  No prior experience is necessary and placements usually last between two and four weeks.  Placements are normally in the administration, hospitality, or retail fields.

STUDY AREA INTERNSHIPS

This programme is aimed at students who would like to gain practical work skills within their chosen field, in a foreign country. This programme is suited to business, technical, healthcare, and other speciality high schools or training schools. The placements are often between two and four weeks however, they can be up to 16 weeks, if required. We have opportunities in everything from healthcare to engineering to business marketing for the right students.

During weeks 2 & 3 there are only 2 scheduled cultural events for students and the internship runs Monday to Friday.

AN EXAMPLE OF OUR EXCITING MILAN ACTIVITIES

City tour, known as the world’s capital of fashion, the northern Italian city of Milan dazzles with glamour, architecture, and history. This is a chance to get to know the city that you will be living and working in.

Italian movie night where you will spend a night soaking up the Italian way of life with a pick of some classic Italian films.

Day trip to Lake Como where you will spend a relaxing day exploring the beautiful lake region of Italy.

Day trip to Cinque Terre, where you will enjoy a drive along this UNESCO-listed coast, home to colourful villages perched above the glittering Mediterranean Sea.

Milan food tasting tour: take a walk around one of Italy’s food capitals, sampling all the local foods as you go.

24 hr hop-on, hop-off bus tour, enjoy a panoramic view of Milan from the open-air top of a double-decker bus and a hop-on hop-off ticket that you can use for 24 hours.

Leonardo DaVinci tour: visit the famous Last Supper painting and learn all about the amazing artist and scientist.

Italian cooking class to learn how to make simple, traditional food.
