GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCE

This programme is aimed at international students who would like to improve their Spanish language skills and gain practical work skills.  No prior experience is necessary and placements usually last between two and four weeks.  Placements are normally in the administration, hospitality, or retail fields.

STUDY AREA INTERNSHIPS

This programme is aimed at students who would like to gain practical work skills within their chosen field, in a foreign country. This programme is suited to business, technical, healthcare, and other speciality high schools or training schools. The placements are often between two and four weeks however, they can be up to 16 weeks, if required. We have opportunities in everything from healthcare to engineering to business marketing for the right students.

End of first week, departure of teachers.

During weeks 2 & 3 there are only 2 scheduled cultural events for students and the internship runs Monday to Friday.

Boat tour, harbour, and beaches of Barcelona.

Internship & Camp Nou stadium tour.

FRIDAY

Last day of internship, certificates & awards’ ceremony, farewell meeting.

AN EXAMPLE OF OUR TERRIFIC PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES IN BARCELONA

Guided tour through Barcelona’s Old Town to explore Las Ramblas and des Barrí Gotic together with a city tour guide.

Explore the coast with the Golondrinas tour and see the typical ferry boats of Barcelona. Enjoy the view of the tourist harbour, the container harbour and the coast of Barcelona

Visit the Sagrada Familia and enjoy this tour through the most famous work of master architect Antonio Gaudi.

Camp Nou experience to visit the FC Barcelona stadium as well as their official museum.

Ruta de tapas tour that takes you to the best tapas restaurants in Barcelona. Visit three different tapas bars and try all the local specialities!

Salsa course where you get to move your body to the rhythms of salsa music with the guidance of a Spanish dance teacher and learn the basic steps of this sensual dance. Get your students and yourself moving! Let the Latino rhythms sweep you away and set the mood for your stay.
