GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCE

This programme is aimed at international students who would like to gain practical work skills in a foreign country without much prior experience necessary. The placements are often between two and four weeks and are within the fields of administration, hospitality, or retail.

STUDY AREA INTERNSHIPS

This programme is aimed at students who would like to gain practical work skills within their chosen field in a foreign country. This programme is suited to business, technical, health care and other speciality high schools or training schools. The placements are often between two and four weeks however can be up to 16 weeks if required. There are opportunities in everything from healthcare to engineering to business marketing for the right students.

Internship & scavenger hunt in Athens.

Internship.

Internship & photography tour.

End of first week, departure of teachers.

WEEK 2 and 3

During weeks 2 & 3 there are only 2 scheduled cultural events for students and the internship runs Monday to Friday.

SUNDAY

Hydra, Poros and Egina day cruise.

MONDAY

Internship & archaeological tour in the evening.

TUESDAY

Internship.

WEDNESDAY

Internship & food walking tour.

THURSDAY

Internship & bowling.

FRIDAY

Last day of internship, certificates & awards’ ceremony, farewell meeting.

SATURDAY

Day at leisure in Athens.

Introductory tour around Athens to get you oriented.

Scavenger hunt around Athens that challenges students to find their way around the city and locate the “treasure”.

Archaeological tour: discover some of Greece’s greatest ancient treasures from the Acropolis to the Greek Parliament with this guided tour delving into the rich history of this ancient city.

Hydra, Poros and Egina boat cruise: spend the day cruising to some of the Islands off the coast of Athens.

Food walking tour to discover the delicious food of Greece as you walk around and taste flavours from some of Athens best markets, cafe’s, bakeries and more.

Photographic tour. Have a professional photographer take you to the best vantage points to snap the most amazing photos from the trip.
