EXAMPLE OF ACTIVITIES IN FLORENCE
City tour through Florence with a guided tour through the old town led by an experienced guide from our language school. Includes an introductory talk about the history and art of this city.
Visit the Duomo. The cathedral, as the central and integral part of town, should be part of any visit to Florence. Go to see the beautiful frescoes, as well as the rich interior of the cathedral. Climb the 463 steps, leading up to the top of the tower, and enjoy the sumptuous view of the surrounding city.
Museo Galileoi. You will be fascinated by this brilliant museum of mathematics, physics, and astronomy. A great visual journey into the mind of the genius, Galileo Galilei.
Palazzo Strozzi. Visit this museum and use its interactive features to really dive into the history of the Renaissance. A great museum with picturesque architecture.
Cine Italiano. Showing of an Italian movie at the language school, popcorn included.
Piazzale Michelangelo. Enjoy the great architecture of the Piazzale and the beautiful view of the surrounding city.
Galeria degli Uffizi und Pallazzo Vecchio. The Medici, one of the wealthiest dynasties of the middle ages, were incredibly fond of and huge supporters of the arts and culture. Visit the Galeria and the Palazzo and feel like a Medici for a day.
Italian cooking class with a chance to sample what you have cooked at the end!
