INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS, TEACHER LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND FRENCH CULTURE
The course is aimed at trainee or practicing teachers of French with an B2 level or above, who wish to develop their language and teaching skills further. The course follows a pattern of several workshops where practicing teachers will have to participate in oral and written activities to develop their knowledge of French civilization, improve their linguistic skills and reflect on pedagogic practice. This course allows you to refresh your knowledge of contemporary France and the constantly changing French language. It will Develop your teaching skills and focus on class dynamics while deepening your knowledge of French culture and civilization including French society, media, advertisements, French songs, language evolution, recreational activities. The program also includes a cultural program of Museum visits, Guided city tours, Evening outings, and other Excursions. The course is designed to equip participants with the ideas and materials which they can use in their own classrooms. It follows a pattern of several workshops where trainee and practicing teachers will have to participate in oral and written activities.
This teaching development course has been designed around the objectives of ERASMUS + key action 1 with the aim of increasing the internationalisation and modernisation of schools and the strength of the teaching profession. As a result it also aims to increase the attainment of multilingualism in students through effective teaching with the hope to decrease unemployment and school drop across the EU.course starts 9th July
