INNOVATIVE and motivating TEACHING METHODS WITH TEACHER LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
This course is for teachers of English working with secondary school students or adult students and aims to refresh teaching skills, giving new ideas for innovative classes. It also aims to improve rusty English skills, teaching new “fashionable” words and everyday idioms to stay current. Topics covered include teaching grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation engagingly and creatively. It also covers storytelling, using music and song, language games, creative and engaging ways of exploiting reading and listening texts as well as developing speaking and writing skills. Additionally, the topics of increasing expressions, idiomatic and current English language are covered.
This teaching development course has been designed around the objectives of ERASMUS+ Key Action 1, with the aim of increasing internationalisation and modernisation of schools as well as strengthening the teaching profession. The end goal is also to increase attainment of multilingualism in students through effective teaching in order to decrease unemployment and reduce the number of students dropping out of school across Europe.
The course runs five days a week from 9.00am to 2.00pm.
